A lifestyle and a personalized approach to living life in a way that allows us to become the best kind of persons that our potentials, circumstances, and fate will allow”. Wellness necessitates good self-stewardship for ourselves and for those around us.

Wellness encompasses 8 mutually interdependent dimensions: physical, intellectual, emotional, social, spiritual, vocational, financial, and environmental. Attention must be given to all the dimensions, as neglect of any one over time will adversely affect the others, and ultimately one’s health, well-being, and quality of life. They do not, however, have to be equally balanced. We should aim, instead, to strive for “personal harmony” that feels most authentic to us. Complete wellness is a process of change and growth towards a healthy lifestyle.

2 Culprits Of Lower Back Pain

Lower back pain can be a disruptor of daily lives. It can also be very difficult to solve.

 These are some of the causes:

  • Tight deep abdominal muscles

  • Tight leg muscles

  • Trigger points

  • Excessive lifting

  • Herniated Disc

  • Sciatica

  • Accident

  • Overuse 

So many people have had back pain unresolved for a long time because the are just focusing on the back. However, there are two culprits that are so often overlooked. Neck Tension And Headache

Do you have tight neck and shoulder muscles and always get headaches? Don't ignore, it could be much more!! 

When muscles in the neck get tight, they could reduce blood and oxygen flow to the brain, why? Blood vessels travel along muscles and when the muscles are tight  they contract and restrict the blood which transport nutrients and oxygen throughout the body. Therefore , when this cycle continues to build up over time it creates discomfort and pain. However, there are always solutions. Lack of sleep has been linked to a higher risk for certain diseases and medical conditions such as: diabetes, poor mental health, obesity, early death. Lack of sleep can be detrimental to our health.
